#56 BOLT Vault — Exclusive sneak peek 15/7/21
Hey BOLTians! This week, we highlight all the improvements we’ve made to our products and services in the first half of 2021, take you through our future plans, and introduce you to the next AMA session happening on Jul 29th. Remember to RSVP and ask your questions here!
All these for YOU, in the last 6 months!
We’ve released 19 updates through the Vault, but these major highlights are what’s going to get you excited for more:
- ESTNN, NASR ESPORTS, BLAST AsP, WildEarth, Wine Oh TV, Naija Game Evo, Nigbati TV, AMusic, Resilience Esports, The Kowalski Way, (and loads more) are now on BOLT+. More streamers to come in August, with Live Tipping, Program Guides, and Live Chat features coming soon.
- Dugout/One Football — expanded to include individual team channels. You won’t have to miss anymore nail-biting updates on your favourite football club! You can now share, favourite and follow your leagues.
- BOLT Token swap process to new ERC20 BOLT Tokens
With the swap process completed, we can now introduce the new BOLT token utility features in August. Stay tuned to our upcoming AMA on July 29th for all the details. - New BOLT X desktop experience and Chrome extension. Having our own BOLT X chrome extension will allow more users, streamers, and brands to learn more about the new web and decentralised finance without the hassle of going through app stores. Look out for our integration on staking and pooling as we roll out new features for boltx.finance soon.
- New bolt.global website launch! In the later half of 2021, we will be working on creating user-focused websites for both BOLT+ and BOLT X (and the BOLT token!) — so new users can understand what we do, sign up for our services, and use the BOLT token in innovative ways.
What’s coming for the rest of 2021?
Our main focus areas
- Implementing more token utility features, starting in August with more ways to use, buy, and earn $BOLT.
- New consumer facing websites for BOLT+, BOLT X.
- Launch staking for the BOLT token — allowing our holders to be rewarded and contribute to $BOLT network growth.
- Launch of boltx.finance — our way of introducing more BOLT+ users to the world of decentralised finance, made easy.
- Launch of the Token Bridge for boltx.finance, powered by Switcheo Tradehub — allowing for seamless swapping for BOLT ERC-20 token to the Zilliqa based standard (ZRC-2).
- Launch great streamers to use our new Live Chat, Live Tipping, Program Guides features in BOLT+ — enabling them to achieve creative and financial freedom, and for users to interact with their favourite streamers in easier ways.
