REBEL BOTS XOIL WARS RELEASE ROADMAP
The Rebel Bots team is proud to announce the upcoming launch of Rebel Bots Xoil Wars Beta on the Polygon Mainnet! The game is expected to go live on November 1, 2023 and include play to earn features and the core strategy gameplay experience.
Rebel Bots Xoil Wars aims to be a sustainable, web3 game which harnesses the power of NFTs and play to earn capabilities. In addition to the core game, over the past several years the team have delivered a native marketplace, multiple NFT collections, a game wiki and card explorer which enables players to prototype and plan their battle strategies.
Core features to be released in Version 1 of the mainnet launch include:
- PVP and rewards (Parts, Xoil, Spark)
- 300+ Battle Cards including Kingdom Cards
- Buffs and debuffs
- Global player leaderboards
- Bot-o-matic
- Barracks
- RBLS and Xoil deposit and withdrawal
- Login supported by Wallet Connect 2.0
- Android, Windows and Mac platforms
The Rebel Bots team initially planned to launch the game in June 2022. As communicated in the past, development delays and issues led to time, quality and stability challenges with the game. However, the new development team has now successfully completed development for core features to enable play to earn and allow players to enjoy a stable version of the game.
Rather than make the community wait for the full version of the game and all features to be completed, the Rebel Bots team have decided the game can be rolled out in version updates with outstanding features added as they are ready, which is a common approach in game development. This means some features will be released in versions after the initial launch. The following features will be released after the version 1 release in world wide mainnet launch (note: patches may occur for smaller updates).
