REBEL BOTS MARCH 2023 AMA RECAP
The Rebel Bots team recently held a community AMA session on Twitter. It was an exciting opportunity for our community members to engage with the team/founders, ask questions, and be the first to hear the latest in our project’s progress and sneak peaks of upcoming announcements.

PROJECT ROADMAP UPDATES
The founders shared that Xoil Wars is in the final stages of development and they are pleased to be able to welcome the community to the open Beta at the end of March, with an outlook to launch after two months.
The team reiterated they understand the frustrations of the delays, and that the Ukrainian-Russia war is an ongoing disruption for some team members. In addition it is difficult to increase capacity as finding devlopers can be challenging due to the negative stigma against crypto, which is a problem many projects face.
However, to thank the community for their ongoing support and patience the Rebel Bots team is thrilled to announce upcoming community rewards, starting with an airdrop for Rebel Bot NFT owners and more reward opportunities to be revealed shortly.
In the short term, the team will be launching new website updates and the marketplace over the coming two weeks (ETA 20–27 March). The Guild Finder tool is a first of its kind tool in web3 gaming and also recently launched on the Rebel Bots website which will make it easier for players and guilds to connect.
Questions from the community also revealed the team is in talks with one of the largest exchanges in crypto about a potential RBLS listing.

Q/A Session Summary
- Can you use your extra fighting bots to charge my main 3 that I am playing with?
If you win enough battles with your top 3 you can possibly charge them again and again to keep playing but as it gets tougher in higher leagues you will likely find you will run out of spark for your top bots. You can then either recharge with Xoil or use your other bots to fight and earn SPARK to charge the 3 bots you like to play with.
2. What determines HP of Fighting Bots?
The parts that it’s built from and rarity. When you go to build your fighting bot you will get a hp range that your bot will be in between. If you’re lucky you will get higher in the range but there’s an element of random chance.3.

3. Will there be rewards in Open Beta?
As Open Beta is on the Polygon testnet, there will not be P2E rewards as testnet tokens have no value.
4. When everything sells out what would be the catalyst for starting the Gen 2 Rebel Bots and Lands launch?
The priority is for Gen 1 to be successful first. We want to let Gen 1 appreciate in value. Then we will evaluate Gen2 launch based on supply and demand — we will potentially drip out Gen 2 land releases to as not to over-supply the market.
5. Will there be tournaments?
Tournaments is potentially something we could do in future. Leaderboards and seasons will be in the game from launch.
7. Where do the tokens go that are used to buy from marketplace/ shop/ game (parts, building bots etc)?
RBLS is kept in the treasury to use reward players, and Xoil is going to be burnt.
8. What happens after the fighting bot claim is over for people buying land off secondary market?
We are extending the window to claim — more details soon. However, if people buy land after the claim is over they won’t be able to claim fighting bots from that land. They will need to purchase Bots on the marketplace to complete their battle set.
9. What is the Rebel Bots Marketplace trading token?
Initially marketplace trades will be done in WETH* but in future we may add MATIC and RBLS.

10. What is the main utility for RBLS?
RBLS is used when you want to build a fighting bot, or buy rarer/legendary parts in the shops. There will be future utility expansions in game also (TBA).
11. Any plans for more Web3 promotion?
People are waiting to play the game. At the moment, influencers don’t provide good return on investment as their views have dropped significantly but they charge a lot so you are wasting a lot of money. When players play the game they will talk about it which gives a strong presence — word of mouth marketing. We are also reviewing different marketing solutions with a priority to get good results and not just waste funds.
12. Will we be able to play on phone?
Yes you will be able to play on the phone.
13. Can we be more active in spaces?
We will try to be more present in spaces. One of the founders is considering opening their own Twitter account. Time spent in spaces can impact the project at this point as it takes time away from working on the game side, it needs a balance.
14. Can you reward beta players more instead of just Rebel Bots holders?
We want to reward RB holders first as they have been an important part of this community for so long but there are many more opportunities for community members to get lootcrates — more to be announced soon.
15. What mechanics are being implemented to stop pay to win and stop whales buying all the best parts and beating everyone?
Xoil Wars is not pay to win. Having the best bots are not going to automatically mean winning. Kingdom cards for example are out of one player’s control, and formation is crucial. The skill of the player has the biggest impact on winning as it’s a complex game so having the best bots does not equal winning.
