After three years of working heads down, we as a team, are extremely excited to announce the date of the StackOS’ main net launch. On the 16th of August everyone will be able to deploy applications in minutes, anonymously, more securely, and at a lower cost! Curious what thrilling marketing plans we have? Read on!

Marketing plans — Worldwide TV, influencers, and advertising

A few weeks ago we were contacted by a media team who were intrigued with the decentralized of StackOS and its potential. Conversations with them resulted in an agreement where Vishnu will be interviewed by Nasdaq team for massive TV Channels like Fox Business, Bloomberg and NewsMax. Not just before the main net but also afterward. Through these interviews, more than two hundred million family’s will hear about StackOS. This creates brand awareness for StackOS inside and outside the crypto space.

In the past few months, we got in contact with influencers in the crypto space who are truly excited about the problems StackOS solves for companies and developers in and outside of the blockchain space. They will be introducing their audiences to StackOS.

We did some tests with advertising on Reddit and will include this as a marketing action executed before main net.

Governance

Although the launch of main net is massive in itself, we are just getting started! We love the engagement we have with our community and want to give them the opportunity to govern on certain matters like t-shirt designs or the burn rate per resource purchase. There are two types of governance participants: General DAO and Node Authority. Your title depends on the number of tokens you stake in the governance pool. Both types get rewards in the form of annual yield and a share of profits from cloud usage.
