Hello mates! It’s been a long time coming. We have absolutely important updates regarding the roadmap / utility / direction of the project including:
— 2D OOZ
— Community wide quests for rewards
— Community communication (biweekly bulletins, monthly AMAs)

The 2D OOZ
The 2D OOZ will be more than a retool or a new version. We plan to reboot the whole IP, meaning this new image will represent the aesthetics of this IP brand, and the lore behind it will be upgraded to fit this reboot. These will be available next Feb.
OOZ’s Lore will be rebooted — OOZs will be spicier, nastier and will pull the worst pranks, just like a real old mate would do to each other.
We’ve been piling up different versions with the LINE FRIENDS design team to figure out which style would best fit our rebooted OOZ’s universe.
We will do more than awesome, we’ll go full-blown serious about the art. We’ll also create meta shaking 1/1s, about 20~30 of them.
In the future, different style art versions will not be a separate NFT — holders will be able to open the new versions to their original OOZ NFT using a certain type of ‘ticket’. Details on the ticket will follow.
Community Pranks
As we prepare to bring a more spicier OOZ & mates into this world, we plan to have more wild fun with the community as well by adding a ‘prank to earn’ function into our community. Starting from next week, we will begin weekly pranks which will be evil but cute. 👿😍
The quests will be renewed weekly, and will last until D-2 weeks of 2D OOZ launch. Leaderboard rankers will be able to claim/draw 1/1s.
We’ll open up this prank quest to non-holders as well, but it will take insane amount of effort to become a ranker as a non-holder.
Community Communication
Biweekly Reports: We have underestimated the grind and effort it takes for a big company like IPX to moon a brand new IP. It takes a loooot of effort and manpower. We want to give some kudos and also share this journey of how an IP grows. In light of this, we’ll be releasing biweekly progress reports.
Monthly AMAs: Also, we’ll be hosting a monthly AMA through either the OOZ account, or our team members’ account. Please keep your notis on. ⏰
IP Development in Web2
As stated, a lot of ideas including contents, art styles, lore, offline events, products are being built. Things will start to unwrap and reveal in a much larger scale once we are in the air. We will keep the holders posted on this in the biweekly bulletins (in English and Korean).
Holder IP Biz
We have been in touch with several holders who are willing to pursue IP biz with the OOZ IP and we are extremely stoked. Some ideas are so impactful that we would like to share now, but we will when the timing is right.
We hope the 2D OOZ will help a lot of more people as it would become more easier to pursue IP biz with 2D art files than 3D. We grow together!!!
