PAID Network Technical Roadmap
PAID Network is building the world’s first borderless SMART Agreement DApp for all business needs. PAID will offer standardized business agreements to make business exponentially more efficient, complete with escrow and insurance features, dispute arbitration and reputation scoring. To achieve this, we have an ambitious roadmap for 2021 that will build on the significant work we have already realized in building out the PAID Network MVP.
Significant progress
We began building PAID Network in late July 2020, designing the architecture required. Since then, we have made substantial headway. This has included:
- Building out our team of 19 with a number of significant hires, including our new CTO, Lawrence Hutson, previous CTO of Travelocity
- Developing our MVP protocol, which now has business agreements working and is operating on the Rinkeby testnet
- Successfully closing our oversubscribed private sale of $2m, following allocation requests of over $40M
- Working with Polkastarter to carry out our public sale on January 20th, following over 59,000 whitelist applications
- Partnering with a number of firms, including Evedo, Gather, Plasm, TomoChain, Kylin, DuckDAO, PlasmaPay, and Chainlink
An ambitious roadmap
Having achieved so much since we formed PAID Network, we are now looking ahead to 2021 and beyond. We are excited to be able to share our roadmap for the future, which will see us launch the various aspects of PAID Network that will combine to create one of the leading DeLa protocols.

A team built to execute
It is easy to promise much and deliver little. We have assembled a team that is now ready to implement the features outlined above. There is a lot of work to be done, but we believe that we are both capable of achieving it and, crucially, that there will be significant market demand for PAID Network once it is launched. The legal sector is ripe for disruption, and, just as DeFi has brought financial services to the blockchain, so too will we usher in DeLa and decentralize legal services.
