West Coast Customs Is Here to Pimp Your NFT Collection With Their Metaverse Debut
Get revved up for the drop of the summer! Origin is excited to unveil a first-ever NFT collection, together with the world-famous West Coast Customs, titled The Metaverse Drop. This inaugural release represents the culmination of nearly 30 years of innovation, disruption, and groundbreaking ingenuity in the car customization space.
West Coast Customs skyrocketed to fame when the MTV series, Pimp My Ride, first hit the air. With ratings through the roof, WCC quickly became a global lifestyle brand, resulting in spin-offs of the smash series including Street Customs and Inside West Coast Customs. Today, the WCC brand is stronger than ever, entering the crypto space with the CarCoin Social Token ($CARS) in early 2021, and now debuting The Metaverse Drop — the first in a series of West Coast Customs NFT collections.
Each vehicle represented in this carefully curated collection was personally selected to be digitally reimagined by Ryan Friedlinghaus, Founder and CEO of West Coast Customs. Every detail from the original real-world WCC customized cars has been captured and painstakingly recreated by three of the world’s top crypto artists and 3D modelers Polar Desert Studios, Andrej.cr3, and nes100pro.
The premier series in The Metaverse Drop, titled Whips, is made up of 4 limited edition tiers and 1 auction. Six NFTs will be available in each limited edition tier with scarcity increasing at each level. The tiers are as follows:
