Our main focus in 2018 is to continue to build exciting products and to improve our platform. From MatchICO to our BASE ecosystem and our SDK — we couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come. With the current advertising system positioning itself for inevitable malfunction, the time for change is coming, and BitClave will be at the forefront of the revolution.
Fundraising
The integrity and security of our token sale came front and center during the token generation event on January 1st, allowing us to have a smooth transition. The team did identify quite a few hacked accounts, but managed to maintain our composure and help all our customers with recovery. In one instance, we had a hacker who was impersonating as our advisor and trying to convince our community support team to release tokens. The several safeguards that we created helped to discover the hack and prevent any damage.
Projects
In October, we released the first version of our search product dubbed MatchICO. MatchICO is a proof of concept website where users can receive CAT tokens in exchange for viewing various ICO’s while sharing their data with the listed companies. MatchICO is mainly aimed at demonstrating a new way of direct marketing between consumers and businesses. Businesses pay the consumers directly, avoiding middlemen like Google and Facebook — BitClave’s core idea.
Since MatchICO’s release, the project has gained massive amounts of traction, with more than 40,000 unique users and 150 participating projects. The product was even listed on Ethereum Network’s Top 10 Projects during the month of December.
We are continuing to develop MatchICO and expect to see a lot of new features coming in 2018. The team is implementing a “refer your friends” or invitation system, a more seamless way of identifying new investors, and many other exciting features. Our main challenge remains balancing costs of transactions on the overloaded Ethereum network. Our team is tackling this problem and we expect to show some good results next month. We encourage our users to check out this project and earn some CAT tokens while searching for new and exciting ICOs.
We also continue to develop our crown jewel BASE ecosystem. At first, we developed a simple, proof of concept Android application, which can partially be viewed on our Github. While this project is exciting, there is nonetheless still a lot of work to be done. We expect a major release of the product in Q2 2018. Our team is testing different blockchain implementations, working with partners like Storj and 0Chain to find an optimal way of providing the best possible user experience to our customers. The next step is to release an open source platform that would enable third party developers to participate in our ecosystem.
The team is also working on a new project dubbed “Crypto Search” — a one-stop destination for all crypto-related news, projects, and more. Our beta testing of the product leaves us extremely excited for the rest of 2018, as we have witnessed an immense amount of interaction and interest from our partners and users who tried it out. Users will make money by sharing their information, while benefiting crypto-related businesses who will now know they are delivering their content to the perfect customers.

Liquidity
We are proud to be one of the first customers of our partners from Bancor Network. Integration with Bancor has provided our users an immediate way of liquidity where they can exchange their earned tokens through the MatchICO project. ICO companies can purchase tokens through the Bancor widget to be used in the network.
Since the Token Generation Event on January 1st, we have also seen several exchanges listing our token — with numerous others reaching to us with a request to list. We are very grateful to our community that provides us the support necessary to continue promoting the product and reaching out to various exchanges.
