QuarkChain June Token Release Schedule Announcement
Dear QuarkChain Community Members,
Since the mainnet of QuarkChain was launched, the ecosystem built around the mainnet is steadily proceeding. Singularity 1.0 has emerged, and QuarkChain’s ecological universe is gathering pressure to meet the big boom of the future ecological universe. For the long-term and healthy development of the project, we announced a new token release schedule in early September 2018: All the token distribution of private sale, foundation, QuarkChain core team, marketing, and advisors was delayed for 9 months (until Early June 2019)*.
With the approaching of the release day, many community members have expressed their high concern about the details. In order to ensure the openness and transparency of the project and to respond to community concerns, we now publish the specific date and proportion of token unlocking as follows.
Release Time: 06/01/2019
Token release involves people: All private investors, advisors, the foundation and QuarkChain core team members.
The Release Ratio:
- Private sale purchasers (about 17.8% of the total token): 3.56% was released before September 2018, and about 5.34% will be released this time. In addition, 5.34% will be released in the upcoming September and 3.56% will be released in December 2019.
- Foundation (15% total): 2-year lock-up period with linear release plan (unlocked 1/8 every three months), and about 3.75% total token was released in Sept. 2018 (since the establishment of the foundation in February 2018). Token distribution was delayed the same as private sale ever since that. From the date of the announcement, it will be linearly unlocked according to the original plan. At this time, there will be no release. The next release will be 1.875% in August and 1.875% in November and so on.
- Team (15% total): 2-year lock-up period with linear release plan (unlocked 1/8 every three months), and about 3% total token was released in Sept. 2018 (since the establishment of the team in February 2018). Token distribution was delayed the same as private sale ever since that. From the date of the announcement, it will be linearly unlocked according to the original plan. At this time, there will be no release. The next release will be about 1.5% in August and 1.5% in November and so on.
- Advisors and Marketing (10% total): 2-year lock-up period with linear release plan (unlocked 1/8 every three months), and about 2.5% was released in Sept. 2018 (since the establishment of the team and advisor onboard in February 2018). Token distribution was delayed the same as private sale ever since that. From the date of the announcement, it will be linearly unlocked according to the original plan. At this time, there will be no release. The next release will be about 1.25% in August and 1.25% in November and so on.
Token Unlocking Method: As usual, we will gradually distribute token to all addresses.
