Introducing Stargazer Wallet v1.2: A Cross-chain functional Wallet for the future of an interconnected blockchain ecosystem. Simply put, the Stargazer Wallet is a browser extension wallet for holding and transacting your $DAG tokens*.

*$LTX and ERC20 support is coming soon!

We are excited to announce that the latest release of the Stargazer Wallet is now available directly via the Google Chrome Web Store. The latest version includes the ability to add frequently used DAG addresses as contacts, as well as the ability to import an existing wallet using a Private Key/JSON file.

Install Now

It is important to note that if you already have the Stargazer Wallet installed and have tokens in your wallet, you MUST have a backup of your wallet seed phrase BEFORE you proceed to install v1.2.

If you don’t have your wallet seed phrase backed up, you will not be able to import your wallet after updating to the latest version and will lose access to your existing wallet and any tokens that are stored there for good. There is NO way to recover the existing wallet without the seed phrase.

Below, you will find some detailed tutorials on how to:

  • Back up your wallet seed phrase on your currently installed Stargazer Wallet.
  • Remove the currently installed extension of Stargazer v1.0
  • Install v1.2 of the Stargazer Wallet
  • Back up your wallet seed phrase
  • Import an existing wallet from a Private Key/JSON file
  • Create and edit frequently used DAG addresses

Backing up the Wallet Seed Phrase

In your currently installed wallet (v1.0):

  • Click on the Settings icon in the top right hand corner.
  • Click on General settings.
  • Click on Wallet seed phrase.
  • Input your wallet password — the wallet seed phrase will be revealed. You can now note these down in a secure location.

Again, if you don’t have your wallet seed phrase backed up, you will not be able to import your wallet after updating to the latest version and will lose access to your existing wallet and any tokens that are stored there for good. There is NO way to recover the existing wallet without the seed phrase. Back up your wallet seed phrase before installing v1.2.

Removing the currently installed Stargazer Wallet v1.0

Stargazer v1.2 now has the ability to add an already created wallet by importing a Private Key File. The way this works is once you create a new wallet, on your newly installed Stargazer wallet, you can then import additional wallets via Private Key/JSON File.
