On November 30, Chandler Guo Hongcai, a famous angel investor, announced that it will fork Bitcoin on Christmas Eve this year, and the fork currency is called bitcoin god. On December 3, Chandler Guo Hongcai revealed more details about bitcoin god:
First, bitcoin god will fork either at block height 501225 or December 25.
Second, an exchange has confirmed that it will be listing bitcoin god. The exchange will take snapshots of its users at a block height of 501225 and will based on their bitcoin holding, 1 to 1 send them the amount of bitcoin god.
Third, the Bitcoin god main chain will be officially launched in January 2018, when bitcoin god users can freely move between the exchange and the wallet.
