Arbitrum will host a community call on September 24th at 15:00 UTC. The purpose of the call is to discuss the eligibility requirements for candidates running for the security council.

Some things to keep in mind when selecting candidates:
🌎Diversity: Does the candidate add to the (geographic, demographic and organizational) diversity of the Security Council?
💙Alignment: Does the candidate have the Arbitrum ecosystem’s best interests? Do they have any conflicts of interest that could impede their judgment?
🧠Competence: Does the candidate have the ability to assess and independently evaluate a technical situation and proposed action, during an emergency?
⏰Experience: Does the candidate have experience with emergencies and security incidents in the blockchain ecosystem?
🤝Responsibility: Does the candidate practice high operational security standards? Will they always be contactable in case of an emergency?
🗣️Communication: Will the candidate proactively work with the Arbitrum Foundation and the rest of the Security Council to communicate the need for action when an issue is detected?
