Morpho to Fully Sunset Optimizer Products on September 7th
Morpho has announced it will deprecate all Morpho Optimizer products on September 7. Users will be provided with a migration tool to transfer positions to Morpho V1 and direct contract interaction links via Etherscan. Originally launched in 2022 as a peer-to-peer optimization layer on lending protocols, Morpho Optimizer improved capital efficiency and rates. Despite reaching $2 billion in deposits in its first year, fundamental limitations led to this transition, including scalability constraints and inflexibility of underlying protocols.
