UK stablecoin issuers now have a fixed clock. ⚠ FCA cryptoasset authorisation gateway opens 30 sep 2026; the joint FCA/BoE systemic-stablecoin consultation closes 28 Feb 2027. In force 25 Oct 2027. Demonstrable AML/KYC controls become the entry gate, not a roadmap item.
