2/ The update reduces new metadata account sizes, lowering the data storage cost, while making Solana lighter & more cost-efficient.
Our Rust SDK became compatible with this update over a year ago. JS SDK is not affected.

3/ The update will roll out on devnet on september 9th, giving all teams and protocols ample time to run any tests and make sure they are prepared.
