Copy Trading settings explanation:
Now that you've gotten familiar with the types of bonuses and coupons you can receive as a new user, let us dig into Copy Trading and fimiliarize ourselves with some of the settings and other key information.
Note: to participate in Copy Trading, you do not have to complete KYC.
To follow a trader which we like, we simply press the "Follow Button", circled in red below:
The following pannel with settings will open up:
Lets go through all of the individual sections and settings.
Futures:
Via the futures section, you may select which cryptocurrencies you would like to copy trade set ups for. Simply click on the relevant pairing to select or deselect. On the screenshot above, all altcoins available for copying are selected.
Follow mode:
The follow mode lets users establish how much money they want to allocate towards following trades.
There are two available options which may be selected by clicking on the dropdown menu (highlited in red above).
Fixed amount = means we can establish a fixed amount of USDT to allocate to each trade. If we select this option and then input 100 USDT, this means that we will be allocating 100 USDT of our balance for each trade we copy.
Multiplier = means there will be a multiplier in effect.
For example, if we set the multiplier to 2.00, and our selected trader opens a trade for 1 BTC, we will open a position for 2 BTC.
The range for Multiplier is between 0.01 and 100.
Risk management:
The risk management settings are also quite simple to understand. They allow us to set:
• Stop loss ratio: this lets us set our stop loss in % terms. If we set 10 as the ratio, then we will be stopped out of our trade at -10%.
• Take profit ratio: lets us set our take profit ratio. The same configuration logic as the stop loss ratio.
• Maximum follow: this lets us set the maximum amount of capital that can be used for each trading pair. The limit is between 1 and 50,000 USDT for each trading pair.
Advanced settings:
To access advanced settings, click on the "Switch to Advanced" button highlighted in the top right corner of the screenshot below.
Bitget also lets us establish some Advanced settings for Copy Trading.
The advance settings allow us to customize our margin, leverage, follow mode, and risk management options for each individual trading pair.
The "Leverage" setting, highlighted in red on the screenshot above, lets us select the leverage we want to use to copy trades of our chosen trader(s):
• Future setting: sets our copytrading leverage based on the leverage we have selected on the USDT-M futures trading section of Bitget .here
• Customized: lets you set the leverage for long and short positions for each individual trading pair.
• Follow the trade: quite literally lets you follow your chosen traders leverage settings.
The rest of the settings you already know ;)
Well, that about wraps up this brief guide on the welcome bonuses you can receive from Bitget and Copy Trading settings!
Do keep in mind though, that while Copy Trading can be a great tool for deriving passive profit from the market, the cryptocurrency market is still a volatile and risky one, therefore watch/manage your risks and don't lose control!
Thanks for reading and welcome to Bitget Copy Trading!
