What is Kaon?
Akropolis is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol built on Ethereum that aims to provide an autonomous financial ecosystem for saving, growing wealth, borrowing, and lending. It offers products such as AkropolisOS (a framework for creating decentralized autonomous organizations), Sparta (a platform for uncollateralized lending), and Delphi (a yield farming aggregator and dollar-cost averaging tool).
The mechanism of Akropolis is based on AkropolisOS, a Solidity-based framework that enables the creation and management of decentralized capital pools. Sparta offers uncollateralized loans, and the platform reduces risk by rewarding community members with AKRO tokens for providing accurate risk assessments.
The AKRO token is an ERC-20 governance token used across the entire Akropolis ecosystem. It governs the protocol’s operations and incentivizes risk assessments while also supporting internal operations like marketing and partnerships.
