What is Aurora?
Aurora is a developer-friendly platform built on the NEAR protocol, providing compatibility with Ethereum. Aurora allows developers to easily port their smart contracts from Ethereum to NEAR, leveraging the benefits of NEAR's impressive block time, 2-second finality, and transaction fees of less than 1 cent due to the cost of gas.
Its primary objective is to facilitate the scalability of the Ethereum ecosystem, allowing developers to run their applications on a high-throughput, Ethereum-compatible, future-proof platform with low transaction costs for users.
