What is Shentu?
Shentu Chain is a security-first, delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS) blockchain designed for the reliable execution of mission-critical applications such as DeFi, NFTs, and autonomous systems. Built on the Cosmos Hub, it ensures cross-chain interoperability and supports EVM, eWASM, Hyperledger Burrow, and AntChain. The network focuses on security assurance across protocols through its integrated Security Oracle and decentralized protection system, ShentuShield.
Shentu Chain enhances blockchain security through two main components: the Security Oracle and ShentuShield. The Security Oracle is a decentralized network of operators that continuously audits and rates smart contracts, identifying vulnerabilities before exploitation. ShentuShield functions as a decentralized reimbursement system, allowing users and blockchain projects to protect against asset loss by staking CTK as collateral or purchasing coverage. Additionally, smart contracts can be developed in DeepSEA, a high-security programming language directly integrated with the Shentu Virtual Machine (SVM), which expands visibility into contract risk management.
CTK is the native utility token of the Shentu Chain ecosystem. It is used for staking, governance, gas payments, and participation in the Security Oracle and ShentuShield systems. Collateral Providers earn CTK rewards for staking and providing protection liquidity, while Shield Purchasers use CTK to pay fees for coverage. The token’s utility underpins the network’s core operations, incentivizing security participation and ensuring sustainable governance of the Shentu ecosystem.
