What is GYEN?
GYEN is the first regulated stablecoin of the Japanese yen, issued by GMO-Z.com Trust Company, Inc.
The project offers several advantages, including fast and inexpensive transactions, the ability to be used as a means of settlement or bridge for transfers between different cryptocurrencies, as well as transparency and reliability provided by blockchain technology.
It should be noted that GYEN is a fully reserved stablecoin, which means that for every issued GYEN token, an equivalent amount in yen is held in reserve. This ensures confidence in the stability of the token's value and fosters trust from users.
GYEN and ZUSD are stablecoins issued by GMO Trust. GYEN is a stablecoin pegged to the Japanese yen, while ZUSD is pegged to the US dollar, with each ZUSD token equal to one US dollar.
