What is HOPR?
HOPR — a project that focuses on data protection and provides privacy on the internet through the creation of a decentralized network.
HOPR utilizes blockchain technology to create a decentralized, open, and anonymous data transmission network. The project aims to give users full control over their data. HOPR provides tools for creating a more secure and private internet network by eliminating individual centralized points that are susceptible to hacking, censorship, and misuse of data.
At the core of HOPR's operation is the HOPR protocol, which acts as an endpoint for data transmission, ensuring confidentiality in online communication. The protocol uses “mix networks” technology, which mixes traffic from different sources to create a complex path between the sender and receiver, ensuring confidentiality at all levels of data transmission.
HOPR has also launched its native token, HOPR, which is used within the HOPR network to reward users who support the network by providing their equipment for data transmission and processing.
