What is Linear?
Linear Finance (LINA) is a cross-chain compatible, decentralized platform for synthetic assets that provides fast, efficient, and secure transactions. The project is designed to address issues related to slow transaction speeds and high fees that are characteristic of many decentralized financial platforms.
Users of Linear Finance can stake their LINA tokens and create synthetic assets called "linear assets" that track the price of various cryptocurrencies, commodities, forex, and other financial instruments. This allows users to gain exposure to different assets without needing to own the underlying asset itself.
The LINA token is used within the Linear Finance ecosystem as a means of governance and for fee payments. Users can also utilize their LINA tokens to participate in protocol governance and earn rewards.
