What is Liquid Staked ETH?
Liquid Staked ETH (LsETH) is a receipt token created when users stake ETH through the Liquid Collective protocol. Liquid Collective is a secure liquid staking standard with multichain capabilities, developed by leading web3 teams to provide an enterprise-grade decentralized liquid staking solution that enhances liquidity and composability in the web3 economy.
When users stake ETH through the Liquid Collective protocol, they receive LsETH tokens. These tokens are generated programmatically and follow the ERC-20 cToken model. This model allows users to manage and control their network reward flow, providing flexibility and efficiency in handling their staked assets.
The LsETH token represents the staked ETH and is issued to users as a receipt for their staking. It adheres to the ERC-20 cToken standard, which enables users to retain control over their staking rewards and enhances the overall liquidity and composability of their assets within the web3 ecosystem.
