What is Secret?
Secret (SCRT) is a unique cryptocurrency that was designed for secure computations and privacy-preserving smart contracts. Unlike traditional blockchains where all data is public, data used in smart contracts on the Secret Network is encrypted, and can only be viewed by entities involved in the transaction. The SCRT token is used for transaction fees and governance votes within the Secret Network. Its main aim is to bring privacy and security to the DeFi (Decentralized Finance) sector, allowing users to create and use applications without revealing their personal data.
