Acala’s Parachain Lease to Finish on October 24th
Acala has announced that its parachain lease will end on October 24th. The lease was for a period of two years. The liquid crowdloan DOT (LCDOT), which represents DOT that has been locked into the Acala crowdloan, will be convertible back to DOT on a 1:1 basis after the lease ends.

LCDOT is short for Liquid Crowdloan DOT - represents DOT that has been locked into the Acala crowdloan. Acala leased a parachain slot for 2 years and after oct 24th, 2023 (https://polkadot.subscan.io/block/17856000) when the lease ends, LCDOT will be convertible back to DOT on a 1:1 basis.
