Arbitrum to Launch ArbOS Dia in January
Arbitrum plans to roll out ArbOS Dia in early January 2026.
The upgrade is designed to improve transaction fee smoothness, increase network throughput, and support more modern user onboarding mechanisms. ArbOS Dia is positioned as a core system-level update for the Arbitrum ecosystem.

Under the hood, Dia also pulls in Fusaka-era execution changes that matter for Arbitrum:
- A new CLZ opcode (EIP-7939)
- Safer, repriced ModExp (EIP-7823, EIP-7883)
- Properly enabled BLS12-381 precompiles (EIP-2537)
- Plus the new eth_config RPC method (EIP-7910)
The goal: keep Arbitrum Ethereum-aligned.
