Eigenlayer to Release Rewards v.2.0 on Mainnet in January
Eigenlayer has introduced Rewards v.2.0, a forthcoming protocol upgrade designed to enhance flexibility, efficiency, and customization within its rewards system. This upgrade marks the first EigenLayer Improvement Proposal (ELIP) leveraging the recently announced EigenLayer Governance process (EigenGov) by the Eigen Foundation.
The deployment of Rewards v2 is scheduled for December 12th on the Holesky testnet, with a mainnet launch planned for January.
