Ethena has announced a partnership with Securitize to submit an application for USDtb to be included in Sky’s $1 billion Tokenization Grand Prix, utilizing BlackRock BUIDL as the primary reserve asset backing.
USDtb is positioned as the only stablecoin in the market capable of being backed 100% by BlackRock BUIDL. The application is supported by Securitize and includes a proposal for a USDtb and USDe swap facility with Ethena, aiming to enable frictionless reallocation between the two assets as Sky adjusts their backing in response to the interest rate cycle.
