Hempcoin THC: Coin Swap
HempCoin (THC) will be upgrading their blockchain to a Proof-of-Stake with masternodes consensus algorithm, providing private transactions using advanced Zerocoin protocol technology and instant transactions using SwiftX technology.
All HempCoin users will retain the balance of their HempCoin addresses, which will be migrated to the new blockchain.
Users' THC Bittrex exchange balance totals will reflect the same total that they had prior to the swap in a 1:1 manner. Once the swap is complete, all tokens from the old blockchain will no longer be supported or traded on Bittrex.
Bittrex will re-enable the HempCoin tokens (THC) wallet when we and the HempCoin team agree that the migration is satisfactory.
Note: Bittrex will be closing our THC wallet on 7/19/2018 and may stop trading the token to take accurate snapshots of balances. If any THC deposits you had sent to Bittrex are not settled (e.g. marked as pending) by 6:00 PM PT, on 7/19/2018 (1:00 AM on 7/20/2018 UTC), you may not be credited with THC.
What is a coin swap (token swap)?
A coin swap is a process of cryptocurrency migration from one blockchain to another. It may be due to a hard fork (coin swap) or a mainnet launch (token swap). Holders need to follow swap guides in order not to lose their cryptocurrency.
