ICON to Hold Wallet Upgrade & Deposit Address Update on Bitrue

Bitrue is updating its Icon (ICX) wallet infrastructure on November 14th. Key points include:

On November 14th at 3:00 UTC, ICX deposits and withdrawals will be temporarily halted to facilitate the upgrade. Users are advised not to make any deposits during this time to avoid potential loss.

The wallet update is expected to be completed by 11:00 UTC on November 14th. After this, deposit and withdrawal services for ICX will resume.

Post-upgrade, users must use new ICX deposit addresses. Old addresses should no longer be used.

Funds sent to old addresses post-upgrade will be secure but will require using the “Locate a Lost Deposit” feature and contacting support for assistance. This feature is available for 6 months following the update. After that period, funds sent to old addresses cannot be retrieved.
