Jupiter has announced the launch of a 50% fee buyback program, set to begin on Monday. Under this initiative, half of the protocol’s collected fees will be used to purchase JUP, which will then be locked for three years in a “litter box” multisig wallet.

The Jupiter protocol currently generates approximately $500,000 in daily fees from various trading services, including perpetuals, limit orders, and RFQ-based transactions. Buybacks will occur on-chain at hourly intervals, with full transparency for tracking.
