Oasis Adds Proxy-Based Frontend Hosting to ROFL
Oasis Protocol has upgraded ROFL to support proxy-based frontend hosting directly within Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs). The update introduces automatic TLS provisioning, built-in DNS configuration guidance, and custom domain support.
When deploying, ROFL now automatically assigns subdomains, provisions TLS certificates, and manages secure HTTPS traffic — all within the TEE. Encrypted communication is maintained through WireGuard tunnels, ensuring that TLS keys remain in secure memory.
This enhancement allows developers to host both frontend and backend components of an application within the same TEE, providing automated domain setup and fully verifiable HTTPS endpoints for improved security and efficiency.
