Sei Network confirms that the SIP-3 upgrade, expected in late March, will transition the network to an EVM-only architecture. As part of this change, support for Cosmos-native assets, including USDC.n, will be discontinued.

Users holding USDC.n on Sei should plan to migrate to native USDC ahead of the upgrade to ensure uninterrupted access. Until the transition is completed, trading and execution on Sei remain available through Carbon DeFi, with liquidity routing via OpenOcean, as well as via Carina Finance, which routes trades through CarbonDeFi.
