Tezos will transition its test networks, Shadownet and Ghostnet, to the newly accepted ‘Seoul’ protocol on September 9. The switch will occur during cycle 31 for Shadownet and cycle 1739 for Ghostnet. Node operators must ensure they are using Octez version 23 or higher, and run both Rio and Seoul bakers. The new v.23 also introduces a unified baker setup, requiring deactivation of previous protocol bakers to avoid double baking.
