VeChain has announced the termination of its token swap service, which has been operational for over five years since the launch of its mainnet. The service has successfully swapped approximately 99% of VEN tokens to their VIP-180 counterparts on the VeChainThor blockchain, making the service no longer necessary.

For those who still possess VEN tokens, they are advised to initiate the token swap via the VeChainThor mobile wallet before October 10th. After this date, the service will be officially discontinued.

After 5+ years of running token swaps after our mainnet launch, the service is formally ending.

With around 99%+ of VEN tokens swapped, we have migrated almost the entirety of ERC-20 VEN to their VIP-180 counterparts on the VechainThor blockchain, thus rendering the token swap service redundant.

If you still have VEN tokens remaining, please initiate the token swap via the VechainThor mobile wallet BEFORE October 10th.
