Vertex Protocol will implement changes to its rewards system on December 18th at 1:00 PM UTC. The modifications are focused on the Q-Score metric, which evaluates and rewards market makers based on their contributions to the platform’s liquidity.

The updated system aims to refine the distribution of VRTX incentives among participants. By adjusting the Q-Score calculations, the protocol seeks to enhance fairness and efficiency in rewarding market makers.

As well as $SOL now being classed as a core asset, minimum depth has been increased and maximum spreads have been decreased to improve liquidity for traders.
