What is Bonfida?
Bonfida is a group of experts in cryptocurrencies, analytics and engineering. Their expertise and focus are largely based on growing blockchain technology by enhancing the world of decentralized identities. Through their accumulated experience they have come to realize that a core component of identity whether on or off-chain is your name. This is how work on the Solana Name Service (SNS) began.
SNS has a simple mission of providing a decentralized and yet affordable way to map domain names (represented as .sol) to on-chain data. Where on-chain data can be anything from a Solana (SOL) address to IPFS CID, images, text, and more.
