Ardor ARDR: Child Chain Control on Testnet
Add ability to control which accounts can transact on a specific chain
Child chains are individual blockchains dedicated to specific businesses or purposes. The transactional functions of the blockchain are performed on the child chains while the parent chain takes care of the processing and securing the network. Jelurida is the first to propose and implement the concept of child chains in their Ardor Platform.
A testnet is an alternative cryptocurrency blockchain, to be used for testing. Testnet coins are separate and distinct from real coins, and are not supposed to have any value. This allows application developers to experiment without resorting to using real coins and not worrying about the integrity and security of the mainnet.
