Qtum has announced a mandatory update for its mainnet. The update is scheduled to take place on November 27th at 00:24 UTC. Users are required to update their Qtum build to v.24.1 before the main network reaches block height 3385122.

What is a hardfork?
The cryptocurrency mainnet operates according to certain rules. To improve network performance or correct errors, changes are periodically introduced into it. In order to continue to mine the cryptocurrency, miners need to update the software.
