Uniswap to Launch Uniswap v.4.0 in Q3
Uniswap is currently in the process of preparing for the launch of its v.4 version, which is tentatively scheduled for the third quarter. The development process is divided into three phases. The first phase, which is currently in progress, involves finalizing the core code, testing, optimizing gas usage, enhancing security, and finalizing the periphery. The second phase will involve comprehensive auditing by multiple audit firms and a community audit contest. In parallel, v.4 will be deployed to the testnet for final adjustments. The third and final phase will be the launch of v.4 on the mainnet ETH in the third quarter.

Uniswap v4's launch is tentatively set for Q3 2024.

At the same time, we believe v4 should be the most rigorously audited code ever deployed on Ethereum—the roadmap below reflects a comprehensive plan to ensure this:

🧪 Phase 2: Auditing and Testnet
Comprehensive auditing by multiple audit firms and a community audit contest. In parallel, v4 will be deployed to testnet, and final adjustments will be made to the code.

v4 is pushed to Mainnet ETH in Q3.
