Spacemesh $SMH: Athena Devnet Launch
A Spacemesh anunciou a abertura pública do Athena Devnet, uma Prova de Conceito inovadora projetada para testar a integração do Athena como um substituto para a VM Genesis na Camada 1.
O devnet apresenta carteiras singlesig e multisig, com singlesig sendo integrado e vinculado a um endereço codificado, enquanto carteiras multisig operam via implantação com base em hashes de código binário. Mais importante, a nova funcionalidade “deploy” permite que os usuários lancem contratos inteligentes diretamente no blockchain.

We're excited to open the Athena Devnet to the public! 🎇🎆
This devnet represents an innovative Proof of Concept integration in go-spacemesh, featuring Athena (on L1) as a replacement for the genesis VM. While this marks an exciting milestone, please note that we're still working diligently to prepare Athena for integration into the main network.
There are singlesig and multisig wallets available. The former is built-in and has a hardcoded address. The latter one is deployed (using the singlesig wallet) and has address based on the hash of the code (binary). The keyword deploy is important - it's the feature that allows users deploy new smart contracts onto the blockchain.
